John Laverty is a full-time dance instructor and has been teaching beginning Ballroom, Latin and Swing Dancing in the Dallas area for over twelve years. 

He is currently instructing group classes for Richland College and has had over 6 years experience hosting his own Saturday evening dance classes and ballroom dances.

John conducts both group and private dance lessons and also choreographs dances for weddings and showcases.  John has hosted ballroom showcases involving his students where he produced, directed and choreographed a dance for each couple.  Those showcases were performed for the public.

John's dance background also includes ballet and is currently a member of the Allen Conservatory of Dance in Allen, Texas.  John sees dancing as his life's work and enjoys sharing it with others.
